At Sips Coffee House we are trying to take reasonable steps to protect your health and the health of our employee's. You will notice that we have gloves on when we take your money or card. That's to prevent any cross contamination between cards. The gloves are thrown away after each customer.
You can't see us washing our hands all the time, but we do. Promise. You probably won't see us sanitizing the register screens, but we do that a few times a day. Every time you see one of us wiping down the coffee machine and counters, we are using a dish towel that we keep in a bucket of sanitizer. We've always done that. Most of us are not wearing masks. That's because we are practicing safe social distancing and you won't be able to hear us if we had masks on. We have always sanitized the spoons, pitchers, blenders and other utensils that we use to make your drinks. We are regularly inspected by the Health Department to ensure we follow best practices and have always passed those inspections. We have also allowed those employees who are uncomfortable with exposure the the public (some of our people have elderly family members living with them) to take time off from Sips for now without prejudice or penalties—all because we care about you and our employees!
